Charges: Aggravated Battery (F), Assault and Battery on a Law Officer (F)

Warrant Charges: Failure to Appear (m)

Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a motel on the 1100 block of North Curtis Road last night, March 26th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect had been informed she had to leave the hotel following disruptive behavior earlier that day. According to the victim who is an employee, the suspect was very intoxicated, angry and aggressive. At one point, the victim tells police the suspect attempted to strike him with her fist. According to witnesses, the victim dodged the punch and began to leave the lobby to get away from the suspect. The suspect then grabbed a pen off the counter and stabbed the victim in the shoulder with the ballpoint pen as he attempted to flee. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The victim received what appeared to be minor injuries at the time of the incident and sought medical attention shortly after. A check though Boise City Records indicated the suspect had two outstanding warrants for her arrest on failure to appear charges.

As officers began the search for the suspect they received a report of a disturbance at a medical emergency room on the 1000 block of North Curtis Road. Officers who responded to that call identified the suspect as the individual involved in the incident at the hotel. Due to the suspect's level of intoxication, medical personnel had to clear her before she could be booked into jail. As the suspect was being taken into custody at the hospital she kicked an officer resulting in the additional charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
