Drug and Burglary arrests; Weekend incident report

  Arrested: Stacie N. Fitzpatrick, 26, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Meth)(F), Injury to a Child (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on the 500 block of South Dalson Lane Neighborhood Saturday evening, March 16th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officers who responded to the disturbance observed approximately 28 grams total package weight of meth in plain view. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had been involved in the sale of the illegal substance. Officers discovered the meth within reach of a child under the age of five, resulting in the Injury to a Child charge. The child was turned over to the custody of the Idaho State Department of Health and welfare. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Arica K. Hines, 30, Meridian

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

   Boise Police on patrol late Saturday night, March 16th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. observed a vehicle fail to stop before entering the roadway and conducted a traffic stop at Phillipi and Kootenai Streets. As officers contacted the driver, Jeffery Williams, and the passenger, Arica Hines, a Boise Police K-9 named "Turk" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle and the two suspects revealed three plastic baggies on Jeffery William's person containing a small amount of meth. A check through Boise City Records indicated Jeffery Williams was currently suspended from driving. Officers also located a plastic baggie containing a small amount of meth in a purse belonging to Arica Hines. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Robert L. Knox, 29, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police on patrol early Saturday morning, March 18th, just after midnight, observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road near South Fry Street and West Victory Road. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Turk" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing approximately 1 gram total package weight of Meth and a pipe with residue. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Daniel J. Cox, 23, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Oxymorphone)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police on patrol Sunday afternoon, March 17th, at approximately 2:31 p.m. contacted the suspect sitting in his vehicle near Ash Park and Swift in Boise. The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance, was asked to step out of the vehicle revealing two syringes in plain view. Officers located a Oxymorphone (schedule II narcotic) in the suspect's pocket. The suspect did not have a prescription for the controlled substance. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Kevin M. Horne, 42, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medication)(F), Contempt of Court Warrant (m), Failure to purchase a Boise City Cab License (m)

   Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning, March 17th, at approximately 1:00 a.m. observed a marked taxi cab with seven people in the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in a parking lot at 5th and Grove Street. As officers contacted the driver, a check through Boise City Records indicated the cab driver, Kevin Horne, had a current warrant for his arrest on Failure to Appear charges. The suspect did not have a license to drive a taxi cab in Boise. A search of the suspect's person revealed a Vicodin pill the suspect did not have a prescription for. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Mario Garza, 29, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of an intruder at a residence on the 2200 block of South Shoshone Street Friday, March 15th, at approximately 3:30 p.m. The home owners tell police they returned to the residence and observed an unknown suspect in the attic. Officers detained the suspect as he attempted to flee. Officers recovered items from the suspect that had been taken from the home. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Lisa J. Klingelhoets, 45, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane, Saturday, March 16th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officers stopped the driver at Denton and Cole Road in Boise. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .13/.13 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Shaun G. Earl Clark, 25, Nampa

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (m)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle make an illegal turn early Saturday morning, March 16th, at approximately 1:30 a.m.  Officers stopped the driver at West Front Street and North 8th in Boise. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .10/.09. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony and was currently suspended from driving. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Darlin L. Leseberg, 30, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), 2 Failure to Appear warrants (m)

  Arrested: Christopher M. Ray, 29 , Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road Sunday, March 17th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects select items they had not paid for on that date and return them at the customer service counter to obtain cash. A check through Boise City Records also indicated Darlin Leseberg had two outstanding warrants for her arrest on failure to appear charges. Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charges. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the program is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Saturday, March 16th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select several items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
