Boise Police received a report of a burglary at a residence on the 5400 block of Pegasus Way Friday, March 1st, at approximately 10:30 p.m. The victim tells police someone entered the home and stole several items of jewelry.

On March 3rd at approximately 8:30 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious suspect call on the 2300 block of East Mugo Street. The calling party tells police an unknown male suspect had come to her door, knocking and looking into windows, asking for a person who did not live there. Officers located Travis Pennington and another male a short time later in the neighborhood and officers noted the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the suspect's person. A search of the suspect's backpack revealed two watches that had been stolen during the burglary on March 1st. Officers also recovered a pipe with marijuana residue and one Oxycodone pill the suspect did not have a prescription for. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the suspect had been involved in the burglary on Pegasus and believed to be involved in others.  The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the burglary and drug related charges.

Yesterday, March 4th, Boise police detectives following up on leads from the investigation determined that Travis Pennington was involved in two additional burglaries.  Detectives then contacted Dylan Mick at his residence in Southeast Boise. During the course of the investigation officers determined the suspect had been involved in two burglaries over the last month including the one on Pegasus Way. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
