Lewd Conduct Strangulation and Aggravated Assault arrests; Weekend incident report

    Arrested: Zackkary D. Wilcox, 19, Boise

    Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor under 16 (F)

    Boise Police arrested the suspect early Sunday morning, February 3rd, at approximately 3:00 a.m. after a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual contact that reportedly took place on more than one occasion over the last month. The incident was reported to Boise Police early Sunday morning just after midnight. Evidence indicates the illegal activity took place at numerous residences and locations in Boise. The suspect is well known to the victim. The investigation into this case continues. No further information is available. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

   Arrested: Bradley J. Franklin, 24, Boise

   Charges: Strangulation (attempted)(F), Battery (m), Malicious Injury to Property (m), Interrupting a 911 call (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in progress at a residence near 27th and State Street early Sunday morning, February 3rd, at approximately 3:30 p.m. The victim, an adult female who is a roommate and well know to the suspect, tells police the suspect attempted to choke her during a verbal argument. At one point, the victim tells police the suspect intentionally broke a mirror and took a cell phone the suspect had been using to contact police. The suspect then fled on foot before officers arrived. Officers located the suspect a short time later when he returned to the residence and he was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Dimas R. Narvaiz II, 26, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

   Arrested: Tierney B. Gaona, 21, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) 

    Boise Police received a report of an aggravated assault Friday evening, that had reportedly taken place in at a Boise on home on Thursday morning. The victim tells police the suspect, who is well known to him, threatened his life with a handgun during a confrontation at a home on the 1500 block of West Alexandra Lane in Boise. 

   Officers located the suspect in a vehicle at a convenience store on the 2700 block of South Orchard Street Saturday at approximately 2:00 a.m. and conducted a traffic stop. After a detailed investigation into the aggravated assault the suspect was taken into custody without incident. A handgun was recovered from the suspect vehicle. A search of the vehicle following that arrest revealed a small amount of meth and a hypodermic needle with residue on it that officers determined belonged to the passenger Tierney Gaona. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Paul S. Alexander, 43, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Parole Violation Charges (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 7500 block of West Emerald Street Friday, February 1st, at approximately 7:30 a.m. Officers recovered a glass pipe with meth residue on it. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Patrick J.Mcdonnell, 48, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Failure to Appear Warrant charges (m)

    Boise Police contacted the suspect, who was known to have a warrant for his arrest, at a residence on the 4300 block of West Kootenai Street Saturday, February 2nd, at approximately 5:00 p.m. After the arrest, officers recovered a plastic baggie on the suspect's person with meth residue. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Charles J. Norred, 32, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle spinning its tires, and failing to maintain its lane while travelling South on Roosevelt near Cassia Street Saturday morning, February 2nd, at approximately 1:30 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .26/.25 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Neal A. Carlton, 55, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle driving without headlights late Saturday night, February 2nd, just before midnight at Overland Road and Entertainment Avenue. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .18/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Safwat N. Awad, 51, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary Friday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on August 22nd of last year. On that date, evidence indicates the suspect entered a retail store on the 5200 block of West Franklin Road and selected merchandise. The suspect was then seen leaving the store without paying for the items. Officers have evidence that indicates the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
