Felony warrant arrests; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: Brandon L. Sterling, 26, Meridian

   Charges:  Aggravated Battery (F) Possession of a Controlled Substance Without Prescription (Oxycodone)(F)

    Boise police responded to a report of a battery that had taken place at a residence in West Boise Saturday, February 16th at approximately 3:30 a.m. The victim tells police the suspect struck her in the forehead with some kind of tool after a verbal argument over an ongoing personal dispute. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Paramedics responded to the scene to treat the victim who sustained a laceration to the forehead. Officers determined the suspect and the victim in this case are known to each other. Officers located the suspect a short time later and, after a detailed investigation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a prescription pill on the suspect's person without documentation resulting in the Possession charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Laloni A. Caswell, 26, Mountain Home

  Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

    The suspects were taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants for Injury to a Child on Monday, February 18th. 

   The arrest warrants stem from an ongoing investigation into the conditions in a Boise home, reported to police by representatives of Idaho Health & Welfare on January 2nd of this year. Officers who responded to the home on that day found evidence the suspects allowed children, under the age of 10, to live in unsanitary conditions with animal feces and unclean conditions. The children were declared to be in imminent danger and turned over to the protective custody of the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare. The investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, resulted in the felony warrants. Any further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1501.Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or in the state prison for not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years.

   Arrested: James A. Loos, 22, Boise

   Charges: Robbery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a robbery at a residence in the North End Friday, February 15th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. The victim tells police the suspect, who is known to him, was involved in taking the victim's phone and a small amount of cash by force. Officers located the suspect a short time later in the area and, after a detailed investigation into the incident, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Adryan W. Pacheco, 19, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of Stolen Merchandise (F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation Charges

    Boise Police observed a vehicle with an obstructed license plate traveling East on Fairview Avenue Monday afternoon , February 18th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. As officers contacted the driver they determined he was currently suspended from driving and had a warrant for his arrest. A search of the suspect and the vehicle revealed a stolen laptop, stolen credit cards, a small amount of marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Autumn, M. Miles, 34, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 8200 block of West Overland Road Friday, February 15th, at approximateley 7:00 a.m. Officers located the suspect on foot in a parking lot on the 8300 block of Overland. As officers contacted the suspect, they observed a marijuana pipe in plain view in the suspect's open purse. As the suspect was taken into custody a clear plastic bindle containing a small amount of Meth was located on the suspect's person. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Jeremy D. Blevins, 29, Twin Falls

   Warrant Charges:  Burglary (F), Fraud (F), Probation Violation charges

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for the above listed charges Sunday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into merchandise purchased at a local merchant on February 5th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect presented a check to the store for merchandise in excess of $1,000.00 and received goods knowing the funds did not exist to cover the purchase. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Arrested: Ronald G. Moss Jr. 41, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 100 block of East Myrtle Street Sunday, February 17th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
