Driving with no headlights leads to Felony drug charges; Daily incident report

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug paraphernalia (m), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

   Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle driving with no headlights on Pershing Drive early this morning, February 21st, at approximately 1:00 a.m. As officers contacted the driver a check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect was currently suspended from driving. Officers recovered two pipes from the suspect's person. A Boise Police k-9 named "Turk" alerted on the suspect vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing approximately 2 grams total package weight of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
