Burglary at Bogus Basin Business Office

Boise, Jan 30, 2013 - Boise Police are investigating a burglary at a small business office on Bogus Basin Road. Officers are asking the public if the have any information on who may be responsible to please call Crime Stoppers.

What Happened: Boise Police were called at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22nd to the offices of the Bogus Basin Ski Area on the 2600 block of N. Bogus Basin Road. Officers found someone had forced entry into the office and taken an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers believe the burglary occurred sometime between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Jan. 22nd.

"Bogus Basin is a non-profit that, like alot of non-profits and small businesses operates on a very small margin. Any loss from theft can hit the ski operation hard along with so many families served by the local ski area. We hope there's someone who has some information that can help us find whoever's responsible," said Sgt. Brian Lee of the Boise Police Property Crimes Unit.
