Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland yesterday, December 27th, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects select two game consoles, video games and other items, then leave the store without paying for them. Employees detained the suspects until officers arrived. Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charges. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

The Boise Police Department’s Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the unit is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.
