Arrested: Ashley L. Todd, 30, Camden SC.

   Charges: Burglary (F)

Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road Monday, December 24th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select several video games, two video game consoles, and several other items before leaving the store without paying for them. Loss prevention agents detained the suspect until officers arrived. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

The Boise Police Department’s Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the unit is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.
