Robbery Warrant arrest and other crimes; Daily incident report

   Warrant Arrested: Curtis T. Smither, 29, Nampa

   Warrant Charges: Robbery (F), Probation Violation Charges (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Robbery yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place at a Boise home on June 13th of this year. On that date, evidence indicates the suspect was involved in entering the victims home and stealing several personal items using intimidation and threats. The victim and the suspect are known to each other through a third party. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this incident should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

   Arrested: John Lam, 24, Boise

   Charges: 20 counts of Forgery (F), 20 counts of Grand Theft

    Boise Police received a report of a theft from a residence on the 1000 block of North Aster Avenue in Boise on December 5th. The victims, who are well known to the suspect, tell police they determined the suspect had stolen 20 personal checks from their home earlier that day. A detailed investigation indicates the suspect forged multiple checks to obtain more than $4,000.00 from the victims account. After a detailed investigation into the incident the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Wade R. Stackle, 20, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into items that had been stolen from a local merchant, then returned for cash. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in returning the items to the Boise merchant to obtain money in return. The theft is estimated to cost the store more than $1,000.00 in merchandise. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
