Wanted suspect arrested and two Felony DUI arrests; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: John K. Baker, 44, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m), Parole Violation Arrest Warrant (F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen's anonymous report of a wanted suspect at a hotel on the 2500 block of West Airport Way Friday morning, October 5th, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Officers confirmed the suspect was staying in a room at the hotel. As officers attempted to make contact with the suspect he was seen throwing items out of the hotel window. Shortly after, the suspect was taken into custody without incident on a State of Idaho Board warrant. Officers retrieved the items and identified them as a small baggie of Meth and a small baggie of Marijuana. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Jerrod B. Tibbetts, 31, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Citation issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign as it travelled southbound on Vista Avenue early Sunday morning, October 7th, at approximately 2:30 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .19/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. Officers located a small amount of marijuana in the suspect's possession and a citation was issued for possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Chad M. Downs, 31, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to signal before entering a roadway at Federal Way and Protest early Sunday morning, October 7th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .21/.20 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
