Boise, Oct. 15, 2012 - 11:30 a.m. - The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the body found Sunday in Ann Morrison park to be that of James Allen, 47 years old, with no known address, recently known to be living as a transient in Boise.
The Coroner's report, released this morning, says an autopsy revealed no obvious sign of injury. Toxicology tests have been orders, however, results can take several weeks. The cause of death at this time remains undetermined. Until a cause of death is determined, the investigation into the man's death will remain open. At this time officers have found no evidence of foul play.
Boise, Oct. 14, 7:25 p.m. - Boise Police have tentatively identified the body found in Ann Morrison Park late this afternoon as a local transient. Official identification will come from the Ada County Coroner.
Officers say there's evidence the man's body has been in the park for some time, with a time of death likely prior to today.

Boise, Oct. 14, 2012, 6:15 p.m. - Boise Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found this afternoon in the southwest corner of Ann Morrison Park.
Preliminary reports say the man's body was found lying partially in a small canal near the duck pond just below Crescent Rim Dr. The body was found by a citizen using the park who immediately called 911 at 5:44 p.m.
Boise Police Detectives and the Ada County Coroner are on scene. At this time, the cause of death is unknown.
