Two unrelated traffic stops end in felony drug arrests; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Kandice M. Ackerman, 33, Nampa

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Parole Violation charges (m)

   Boise Police on patrol last night, October 4th, at approximately 9:45 p.m. observed a vehicle fail to signal a lane change and fail to come to a complete stop. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 7100 block of West Overland. Ada County Dispatch determined the suspect had a current warrant for her arrest on Parole Violation charges.  A search of the suspect's person revealed baggies containing approximately 31.1 grams total package weight of Meth and approximately .8 grams total package weight of marijuana. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicated the suspect had been involved in the sale of the illegal substances. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Failure to Appear Arrest Warrant (m)

    Arrested: Kevin S. Rhodes, 39, Nampa

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F)

     Arrested: Jamie J. Lischke, 35, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(m), Frequenting a place where drugs are Used or Sold (m)

   Boise Police on patrol last night, October 4th, at approximately 10:30 p.m. observed a vehicle with cancelled registration and conducted a traffic stop near Ustick and Five Mile Road.  A check through Ada County Records indicated the driver, Fileberto Vela, had a current warrant for his arrest on Failure to Appear charges. As officers arrested the suspect on the warrant they observed a hypodermic needle and several prescription pills in plain site within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle, and the three occupants, revealed several prescription Oxycodone and Seroquil pills without documentation. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: CLifford J. Bale, 30, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 1500 block of West State Street yesterday, October 4th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Employees detained the suspect until officers arrived. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the program is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
