Officers recovered approximately 1 gram total package weight of meth, 3.4 ounces total package weight of marijuana, syringes containing additional meth, glass pipes with residue, digital scales, plastic baggies and other packaging materials. During the course of the investigation officers determined the suspects had been involved in the sale of illegal drugs. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Janelle K. Leggett, 23, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Forgery (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Forgery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into several fraudulent checks presented to a local bank as deposits starting in June of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect used the checks to obtain more than $3,000.00 in funds from a local financial institution. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Warrant Arrested: Michael P. Nelson, 51, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a theft at a retail store on the 10000 block of West Ustick Road in August of this year. Store employees tell police they witnessed the suspect select items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft. Officers later received evidence that indicated the suspect may be involved in similar activity at other stores. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
