Officers make multiple Felony arrests over busy weekend; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: Bryce A. Tremblay, 38, Meridian 

   Charges: Eluding (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Malicious Injury to Property (m), Assault (m), Destruction of a Telecommunication Device (m)

    Boise Police responded to a fight at a residence in East Boise Sunday afternoon, October 28th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. During a physical altercation the suspect broke a phone being used to contact police and kicked in a door. The suspect was attempting to leave in a pickup as officers arrived. The suspect refused to yield to officers lights and siren, and accelerated to over 70 miles per hour as he attempted to evade officers travelled East. Officers performed a PIT Maneuver to stop the suspect near East Grand Forest Drive and Highway 21. During the persuit officers received information that the suspect may be armed with a handgun. The suspect refused to comply with officers instructions. At one point an Ada County Deputy deployed a 40 mm foam round in an attempt to take the suspect into custody safely. Boise Police officers then deployed a Taser and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A handgun was recovered from the suspect's vehicle. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

   Arrested: Brian W. Plant Jr. 22, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F)

    Boise Police responded to a theft in progress at a pharmacy on the 100 block of East Bannock Friday evening, October 26th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Security personnel tell police they discovered the suspect stealing medications. The suspect was detained until officers arrived. Officers recovered three prescription medication bottles containing more than 100 prescription pills for Dronabinol and Marinol. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Dyllon B. Spencer, 20, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen report of suspicious activity near Orchard Street and Bethel Street Sunday evening, October 29th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. The calling party indicated four individuals with bandannas across their faces had gone around the back of a residence and returned a short time later carrying a backpack. Officers located the suspects as they entered a vehicle and conducted a stop. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed numerous small items stolen from the residence including cell phones and a purse. Three juvenile suspects and Dyllon Spencer were taken into custody. After a detailed investigation Dyllon Spencer was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. The three additional juvenile suspects will face charges in the juvenile criminal system.

   Arrested: Nicholas J. Garrett, 23, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Failure to Appear Warrant (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a prowler on the 3500 block of North Five Mile Road Sunday, October 28th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Using information provided by the calling party officers located the suspect walking in the area. A check through Ada County Dispatch confirmed a warrant for the suspect's arrest on Failure to Appear charges. A search of the suspect's person revealed a laptop, cameras and coins. Officers later confirmed the items had been stolen from a nearby residence. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Minor Consumption (m)

   Boise Police on patrol late Saturday night, October 27th, at approximately 11:40 p.m. observed a vehicle for a turn signal violation and conducted a traffic stop near South Broadway and West Becon Street. As officers contacted the occupants, a Boise Police K-9 named "Diesel" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a backpack containing a digital scales, a plastic baggie with five Oxycodone pills and alcohol. Officers determined the backpack belonged to David Wesley, a passenger in the vehicle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Tyler E. Fust, 23, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle driving the wrong way traveling West on I-184 in the Eastbound Lanes near the off ramp of the River Street exit early Sunday morning, October 28th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .34/.33 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Christopher L. Rogers, 41, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a vehicle collision near the intersection of State Street and Mercer Street Saturday afternoon, October 27th, at approximately 12:30 p.m. The suspect was the driver of a vehicle involved in the collision.  The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .18/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Tyler I. Hendricks, 31, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one way street at Jefferson and Third Streets Friday evening, October 26th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. Officers also determined the suspect did not have a valid drivers license. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Marcell S. Horton, 28, Sacramento CA.

   Charges: Fraudulent Use of a Financial Transaction Card (F), Failure to Appear Warrant Charges (m)

    Boise Police received a report of fraudulent credit card transactions from a local merchant in September of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in making purchases with the fake card to obtain goods and services. Officers located the suspect at a hotel Saturday, October 27th. During the course of the investigation, officers determined the suspect had a current warrant for his arrest on Failure to Appear charges. After a detailed investigation into the fraudulent use of the credit card, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Kevin A. Pearson, 39, Boise

   Charges: Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud (F), Probation Violation (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fraud in progress at a pharmacy on the 3500 block of South Federal Way Friday, October 26th, at approximately 8:00 a.m. Employees tell police the suspect called in a false prescription for Norco to the pharmacy. When the suspect arrived to pick up the controlled substances officers took him into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Dayne F. Cooper, 40, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Trespassing (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Road  Friday, October 26th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select a backpack, remove the tags, and attempt to leave the store without paying for the item. Loss prevention employees detained the suspect until officers arrived. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. Officers determined the suspect had been trespassed from the store on a previous occasion resulting in the trespassing charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
