Boise Police observed a vehicle driving the wrong way down a one way street, Westbound on Main Street at 6th last night, September 26th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Officers stopped the driver at Idaho and 14th Streets. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .08/.08. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect was currently suspended from driving out of Washington State. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Turk" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed two pills identified as a Schedule III narcotic controlled substance the suspect did not have documentation to possess. The pills, identified as Soboxine, were hidden inside an empty cigarette pack. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Robert A. Dailey, 39, Chiloquin OR.

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into cash obtained through fraudulent means from several local merchants starting in February of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in defrauding several local businesses of more than $1,000.00 in funds by presenting false identifying information and documents. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
