Threats with a knife end in warrant arrest and K-9 leads officers to Meth; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Robert L. Dudy Jr. 56, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place at a home in Boise on June 29th of this year. On that date, officers responded to a disturbance at the home on the 10,000 block of West Ardyce Court at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers have evidence that indicates the suspect, who is well known to the victim, held a knife in a threatening manner while standing near the victim, and made threats against his life. The victim tells police he feared for his safety. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905. Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.
