Arrested: Robert V. Peterson, 24, Boise
Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)
Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on the 6500 block of West Ustick road last night, August 27th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect had been involved in an ongoing dispute with an adult female who resides there. At one point, victims tell police the suspect entered the room with a rifle and pointed it at two adult females while making threatening statements. Officers recovered the weapon from the home. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905. Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a) With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b) By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.[; or] (c) With any vitriol, corrosive acid, or a caustic chemical of any kind.(d) "Deadly weapon or instrument" as used in this chapter is defined to include any firearm, though unloaded or so defective that it can not be fired.
Arrested: Brian S. Carson, 35, Boise
Charges: Driving Under the Influence (Excessive)(DUI)(F)
Boise Police observed a vehicle traveling Eastbound on Fairview Avenue failing to maintain its lane early this morning, August 28th, at approximately 1:30 a.m. After witnessing the suspect vehicle cross the center line multiple times officers stopped the driver at Fairview Avenue and Maple Grove. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .27/.28 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for excessive DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
Arrested: Ranae S. Lalonde, 50, Boise
Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)
Boise Police witnessed the suspect perform an illegal lane change near Ustick and Cole Road early this morning,
August 28th, just after midnight. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Rexx" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed items of drug paraphernalia including a pipe. Officers also recovered approximately one gram total package weight of Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
