Shoplifting trio arrested on Felony Burglary charges; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Crystal M. Rodriguez, 26, Ontario OR.

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Arrested: Cora M. Hunsaker, 20, Ontario OR.

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Arrested: Ruth M. Gutierrez, 36, Payette ID.

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Street yesterday, July 12th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects conceal multiple clothing items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers detained the suspects in the parking lot of the store and recovered more than $700.00 worth of merchandise. Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police and Idaho Probation and Parole agents conducted a search of a suspect's residence on the 900 block of South Curtis Road yesterday, July 12th, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Officers located a glass meth pipe that tested positive and a straw used to ingest illegal substances. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
