Alcohol and poor judgement lead to felony arrests; Weekend incident report

   Arrested: Alberto Villagomez-Zavala, 22, Jerome

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

   Arrested: Ottis D. Moore Jr, 24, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a fight involving multiple suspects at 6th and Idaho Street early Sunday morning, July 15th, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Witnesses tell police two groups of people became involved in a confrontation. At one point, the confrontation escalated into a physical fight involving several suspects. Witnesses tell police Alberto Villagomez-Zavala threw a glass bottle striking one victim in the head. Witnesses also indicated that Ottis Moore stabbed an adult victim, causing a very small stab wound. During the investigation, officers recovered a small folding knife from Ottis Moore's person. The adult male stabbing victim was treated at the scene and released by paramedics. Alcohol was a factor in this incident. The two aggravated battery suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. Three additional suspects were cited for disturbing the peace and released.

   Arrested: Erik N. Miller, 45, transient

   Charges: Sexual Abuse of a Child under 16 (F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizens report of an adult male propositioning women in the parking lot of a retail store on the 100 block of East Myrtle Sunday evening, July 15th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect was approaching females in the parking lot and suggesting they watch him masturbate. As officers arrived at the parking lot, they observed the suspect approach a younger looking female and intervened. Officers determined at least one of the females approached was under the age of 16. No physical contact between the suspect and the victim took place in this incident. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges per Idaho code. 

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1506. Sexual abuse of a child under the age of sixteen years. (1) It is a felony for any person eighteen (18) years of age or older, with the intent to gratify the lust, passions, or sexual desire of the actor, minor child or third party, to:(a)  Solicit a minor child under the age of sixteen (16) years to participate in a sexual act;

    Arrested: Andrew A. Sandeen, 21, Kailua Kona HI

    Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Carrying a Concealed Weapon without a License (m)

   Boise Police received a citizen tip of possible drug activity involving a weapon near 27th and Bannock early Sunday morning, July 15th, at approximately 4:30 a.m. Officers located the suspect on foot at the location described. As officers attempted to conduct a terry search of the suspect for safety the suspect began to physically resist officers. The suspect attempted to reach into his waistband several times. During a search of the suspect's person officers recovered a handgun in his waistband, a plastic baggie containing approximately 2 grams total package weight of Meth, additional packaging materials and a syringe with residue in it. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Jeremy W. Wilkes, 28, Boise

    Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Failure to Appear Warrant charges (m)

   Boise Police conducted a check for a wanted suspect at a restaurant on the 1300 block of east Beechcraft Court Friday evening, July 13th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers located the suspect in a moving truck in the parking lot and determined he had two outstanding warrants for failure to appear. An Ada County K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 30 Oxycodone pills packaged in a plastic baggie, a pill bottle containing a small amount of marijuana, two glass pipes and other items of drug paraphernalia. Officers have evidence that the suspect had been involved in delivering the controlled substances to individuals. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Franklin A. Danielson, 59, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a citizen report of a possible DUI driver passed out behind the wheel of his car at North Arthur Street and West State Street Friday, July 13th, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Officers located the vehicle stopped in the roadway and the driver was asleep behind the wheel with the engine running. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, refused to conduct several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Yvonne M. Pantiledes, 45, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a collision at Warm Springs Avenue and Straughn Street Sunday evening, July 15th, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect failed to stop for a stop sign and struck another car. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .23/.23 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Corben R. Ball, 23, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a convenience store on the 2400 block of South Vista Avenue Sunday, July 15th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. The store employee tells police the suspect entered the store and selected a case of beer, then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. The employee provided detailed identifying information and officers located the suspect and his vehicle. Officers located the suspect and vehicle on the 2700 block of Rose Hill Street. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
