Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to use a turn
signal near Belmont and Manitou Streets early yesterday morning,
May 1st, at approximately 5:30 a.m. Officers activated emergency
lights in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop in a parking lot.
The suspect vehicle refused to yield and instead accelerated as it
fled across the parking lot, almost striking a concrete sign
holder. The suspect then drove over a large berm and South through
an alleyway. The suspect drove onto Beacon, then Northbound onto
Manitou, then Eastbound on Belmont. Officers estimate the suspect
vehicle was travelling approximately 55 miles per hour in a 20 mile
per hour zone. At one point, the supsect turned off his headlights
and continued to evade police. Officers lost contact with the
vehicle shortly after and began searching the area for the suspect.
At approximately 6:20 a.m. the suspect was detained by Idaho
National Guard security personel as he attempted to drive through
the main gate at Gowen Field. The suspect, who appeared to be very
intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and
blew a .19/.19 at the Ada County Jail. Officers later
determined the suspect had been involved in driving through a fence
at a construction site on the North side of BSU Stadium. Officers
recovered the suspect's front license plate from that scene,
resulting in the additonal charge of Leaving the Scene of an
Accident. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the
above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Billy A. Moore, 26,
Boise
Warrant Charges: Injury to a
Child (F)
The suspect was taken into custody on
an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing
investigation into injuries located on a child under one year of
age reported to police by a third party in April of this year.
Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the injuries while
the child was under his care at a Boise residence on April 13th.
After a detailed investigation that information was forwarded to
the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the
felony warrant.

Arrested: Marc E. Haines, 26, Boise
Charges: Violation of a No Contact Order
(F)
The suspect was taken into custody
following a detailed investigation yesterday, May 1st, at
approximately 4:30 p.m. Idaho Probation and Parole agents reported
to officers that the suspect has been residing at a home on the 700
block of Cunningham in violation of a court issued no contact order
with full knowledge that doing so was a crime. After a detailed
investigation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident
and booked at the Ada County jail on the above listed charges.
