Boise Police responded to a report of a
robbery that had just taken place at a convenience store on the
5800 block of West Franklin yesterday, May 2nd, at approximately
4:30 p.m. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect entered the
store waiving a knife in the air. At one point, victims tell police
the suspect produced a second knife and stated he wanted
money. The suspect fled the store in a vehicle moments later, after
receiving no money and leaving the knives behind.
A few minutes later, the suspect was located and
detained by Ada County Sheriff's Deputies across the street from
the Ada County Sheriff's Office on 7200 Barrister. The suspect was
positively identified by information provided by witneses. After a
detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada
County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
TITLE 18 CRIMES AND
PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 65 ROBBERY 18-6501. Robbery defined. Robbery is the felonious taking of personal
property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate
presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or
fear.

Charges: Injury to a
Child (F)
Boise Police arrested the suspect
yesterday, May 2nd, after a detailed investigation into an
altercation that reportedly took place on April 21st of this year.
On that date, evidence indicates the victim was involved in an
argument with the suspect, who is known to him, at a home in North
Boise. At one point, the victim tells police the suspect grabbed
him by the throat and slammed him against the wall. The victim, a
male under the age of 15, tells officers the suspect then choked
him. The incident was reported to Boise Police yesterday. After
conducting a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to
the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
TITLE 18 CRIMES AND
PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE
ADULTS 18-1501. Injury to children.
(1) Any person who, under circumstances
or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death,
willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts
thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having
the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the
person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes
or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its
person or health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in
the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or in the state prison
for not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10)
years.

Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(m), Probation Violation charges (F)
Boise Police responded to a report of a
problem subject at a residence on the 9100 block fo West Irving
Street yesterday, May 2nd, at approximately 4:00 a.m. The calling
party told officers the suspect, who is known to her, had entered
the home without permission and had gone to sleep inside the home.
As officers approached the suspect to remove her from the home they
observed a pipe in plain sight next to the suspect with Meth
residue in it. The suspect was transported to the Ada County
Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
