Warrant Arrested: Michael D. Mendoza, 39, Star

Warrant Charges:  Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the sale of spice on April 18th of 2011. Evidence indicates that on that date, the suspect sold the substance to an individual at a store on the 100 block of South 11th Street Street. Officers recovered other packages containing spice from the store. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
