Investigation of Shots Fired

Boise, April 9, 2012 - Boise Police are investigating after shots were fired at a northwest Boise home early Sunday morning, April 8th.

At this point, details are under investigation, but here's what is available for release at this time;

What happened: Officers were called to the home in the area of N. Pierce Park Lane and W. State St. yesterday morning about 2:00 a.m.  Officers are still investigating exactly what happened and who was involved. Officers do not believe the incident was random although the motive and ties among those involved remain under investigation. 

One person was injured during the incident and Sunday afternoon was found to have checked themselves into a Nampa hospital. That person was treated and released and is being held in the Canyon County Jail on a probation violation.

Further details will be made available as the investigation progresses.
