Boise Police on patrol early this morning observed
a vehicle conduct an illegal lane change and fail to signal a turn
near 34th and State Street, early this morning at approximately
12:30 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Veterans Memorial
Parkway near Adams Street. The vehicle pulled over and stopped on
the shoulder of the road. When the officer exited his vehicle to
contact the driver, she quickly jumped on the gas and sped away
from the traffic stop travelling Westbound on Adams Street. The
suspect vehicle was travelling at a very high rate of speed on the
residential street, an estimated 70 miles per hour in a 25 mile per
hour zone. The officer broadcast identifying information to nearby
units and began searching the area for the suspect. Officers
located the suspect, still in her vehicle, moments later on 45th
Street. The suspect was taken into custody without further
incident. During the course of the investigation officers
determined the suspect did not have a valid drivers license.
The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above
listed charges.

Charges: Possession of a
Controlled Substance (Oxycodone)(F), Probation Violation Warrant
(m)
Boise Police responded to a hotel to
investigate a wanted person on the 2700 block of West Elder Street
yesterday, April 25th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers located
the suspect and confirmed through Ada County Dispatch that
the suspect had a current warrant for his arrest on probation
violation charges. A search of the suspect at the Ada County Jail
revealed 8 Oxycodone pills inside a small baggie concealed in the
suspect's clothing, resulting in the Possession charge. The suspect
was booked on the above listed charges.
