Delivery and Grand Theft arrests; Daily Incident Report

    Arrested: Carla R. Jacobsen, 56, Boise

    Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Oxycodone and Oxycontin)(F)

   Boise Police Narcotics Detectives contacted the suspect at a hotel on the 4000 block of West Fairview as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession and sale of prescription medications yesterday, April 26th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Officers verified the suspect had a current 4th amendment waiver and conducted a search of the suspect's room. Officers recovered 48 Oxycodone and 3 Oxycontin prescription narcotic pills along with other evidence that indicated the suspect had been involved in the sale of the controlled substances. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Charges: Grand Theft (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a fraud taking place at a retail store on the 10000 block of West Fairview yesterday, April 26th, at approximately 2:00 p.m. Store employees tell police the suspect entered the store twice, in an attempt to obtain money by returning merchandise that had not been purchased at the store. The merchandise was valued at more than $1,000.00. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
