Death Investigation

UPDATE: April 26, 2012 - Boise Police detectives and the Ada County Coroner have identified the man whose body was found yesterday in a wooded section of Ann Morrison Park as Kelly S. Haroldsen, 48. Haroldsen is not known to have any permanent address. At this time, there is no evidence of foul play.

Boise, April 25, 2012 - Boise Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found late this morning in the southeast corner of Ann Morrison Park.

At this time, the man appears to be a transient. He was found laying with a backpack toward the bottom of the hilly, wooded area between the softball fields and Crescent Rim Dr. A citizen found the man's body and reported it to police at 11:05 this morning.

The investigation is in it's very early stages. Detectives are on scene. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
