Boise Police responded to a report of a
battery at a home in East Boise Sunday evening, April 15th, at
approximately 11:30 p.m. Officers determined the suspect
and the victim, who are well known to each other, were involved in
an argument that turned physical. Evidence indicates that during
the altercation the suspect struck the victim several times,
chocking the victim's neck and caused the victim to lose
conciousness. The victim also sustained a broken arm. The victim
was transported to a local hospital for what appeared at the time,
to be non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was
transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed
charges.

Warrant Arrested: Emmanuel N. Roper, 27,

Warrant Charges: Aggravated
Assault (F)
The suspect was taken into custody on
an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing
investigation into threats made to an adult female victim at a
Boise residence in February of this year. Evidence indicates the
suspect threatened the victim during an argument, while making
aggresive and threatening motions with a knife. That investigative
information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's
Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Boise Police responded to a citizens
call of a possible vehicle burglary taking place on the 3000 block
of West Madison Street early Saturday morning, April 14th, at
approximatley 5:00 a.m. The calling party tells police he witnessed
two males entering vehicles in the neighborhood and taking items.
Officers located the suspects a short time later as they entered
another victim's vehicle and took them into custody. Officers
determined the suspects had stolen items from mulitple vehicles in
the area. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and
booked on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Kristen D. Cooper, 30,
Boise
Charges: Possession of
a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(m)
Boise Police on patrol Saturday afternoon, April
14th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. observed a vehicle with expired
registration and conducted a traffic stop on the 500 block of South
Garden Street. As the driver exited the vehicle to talk with
police, a black bag fell from the vehicle. A Garden City Police K-9
alerted on the item, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A
search of the bag revealed two needles and a baggie with
approximately 1 gram total package weight of meth. The suspect was
booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Jamie L. Proffitt, 36,
Boise
Charges: Possession of
a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Resisting and Obstructing
(m),
Boise Police on patrol Friday afternoon, April
13th, observed a vehicle fail to properly signal a turn and
conducted a traffic stop near Franklin and Manville Streets. During
the stop the suspect repeatedly refused to obey officers
instructions. The suspect was eventually taken into custody and a
search of his person revealed less than one gram of Meth hidden in
his pants. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the
above listed charges.

Arrested: Jason L. Lake, 34,
Boise
Charges: Grand Theft
(F), Forgery (F), Fugitive to Idaho (F)
Boise Police responded to a report of
stolen checks at a residence in Boise. The victim tells police the
suspect had stolen the checks and forged his signature to obtain
cash. After a detailed investigation officers obtained evidence
indicating the suspect had obtained approximately $1,200.00 using
the stolen checks starting at the beginning of this month. A check
through Ada County dispatch indicated the suspect had a current
warrant for his arrest out of Utah on Fraud charges resulting in
the Fugitive to Idaho charge. The suspect was transported to
the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Sean S. Hurst, 26,
Boise
Warrant Charges: Vandalism

The suspect was taken into custody on
an outstanding felony warrant for Vandalism yesterday.
The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing
investigation into the destruction of a piece of furniture at the
victims residence in February of this year. Evidence indicates the
suspect, who had an ongoing conflict with the victim, entered the
victims home and used a sharp object to slash the victims couch.
That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County
Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony
warrant.
