Additional Information; Shooting on Tamarack

Additional information:

   The investigation continues into an incident early this morning that left one man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
   The man is from Boise and in his 30's. The weapon appears to be a handgun.

   At this time, no arrests have been made. The investigation continues into where any crime was committed.

   Boise, April 27,  2012 - 5:45 a.m. Boise Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the 2700 block of Tamarack at 1:13 this morning  As Officers arrived to the area they observed a vehicle leaving the scene.  When officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle they found a male adult who had been shot.  The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  While the incident is under investigation, initial information indicates that the shooting was most likely accidental. 

  

   Additional information will be released as the investigation progresses.
