Home Worker Charged with Theft; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Lea C. Tweet, 21, Boise

Charged: Grand Theft (F)

Boise Police were called by the owners of a west Boise home Sunday evening, March 18th who reported a theft of jewelry and other personal items. The homeowners had been away and had hired home care workers to watch a family member who remained at the house. After investigating, and with full cooperation of the service the worker was hired through, Boise Police Property Crimes detectives found evidence linking the theft to a hired worker who had recently been in the home, identified as Tweet. Tweet was arrested on the above charge Monday afternoon. Detectives were able to recover the stolen items.
