BPD K-9 Kamo sniffs out three arrests; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Jamie L. Bair, 28, BoiseKamo-K9-Small.jpg

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Arrested: Richard A. Pehringer, 31, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation charges (F)

   Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle stop in the crosswalk at the intersection of Irving and Maple Grove yesterday, March 29th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. As officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle, a Boise Police K-9 named "Kamo" alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed .5 grams total package weight of meth, a pipe used to smoke meth, a digital scale and a marijuana cigarette. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Mary A. Thomas, 49, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

   Boise Police on patrol on the 5100 block of West Emerald observed a vehicle driving through the parking lot of a closed business with no headlights on early this morning, March 30th, at approximately 1:00 a.m.  As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Kamo" alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed four syringes containing a clear liquid that tested positive for methamphetamines. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
