Boise man Arrested on Attempted Lewd Conduct charges; Weekend incident report

  Arrested: Conner P. Doyle, 18, Boise

   Charges:  Attempted Lewd Conduct with a Minor under 16 (F)

   Boise Police arrested the suspect Friday evening, March 9th, at a hotel on the 2900 block of Chinden in Garden City after a detailed investigation. The arrest came after an ongoing investigation by Boise Police Detectives, the Idaho Attorney General's Office and Detectives from the Garden City Police Department into an attempt to meet whom the suspect believed to be a 13 year old female at the hotel for sex. Detectives exchanged messages with a man, later identified as the suspect, Doyle, starting in February of this year. The suspect believed he had arranged to meet the teen for sex at the time of his arrest.

   TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1508. Lewd conduct with minor child under sixteen.Any person who shall commit any lewd or lascivious act or acts upon or with the body or any part or member thereof of a minor child under the age of sixteen (16) years, including but not limited to, genital-genital contact, oral-genital contact, anal-genital contact, oral-anal contact, manual-anal contact, or manual-genital contact, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex, or who shall involve such minor child in any act of bestiality or sado-masochism as defined in section 18-1507, Idaho Code, when any of such acts are done with the intent of arousing, appealing to, or gratifying the lust or passions or sexual desires of such person, such minor child, or third party, shall be guilty of a felony and shall be imprisoned in the state prison for a term of not more than life.

   Arrested: Shon R. Radcliff, 43, Boise

   Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (F)

    Boise Police responded to a disturbance at a shelter on the 2300 block of West Fairview Saturday, March 10th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. When officers arrived they witnessed the suspect kicking the door, breaking a railing and causing extensive damage to a trailer on the property. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, was under the impression there was a person inside with whom he had an ongoing dispute. Officers later observed two windows had also been broken. No one was in the trailer at the time of the incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Tony K. Brewer, 39, Boise

   Charges:  Battery on an Officer (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Providing False Information (m) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle with unregistered license plates in a parking lot on the 5700 block of West Overland Friday morning, March 9th, at approximately 9:00 a.m. As officers contacted the occupants of the pickup, the suspect provided conflicting information about the vehicle. The suspect also provided false identifying information to officers. At one point, the suspect refused to listen to officers commands to stay in the vehicle during the investigation and kicked the door open. As officers attempted to detail the suspect a physical altercation took place. A K-9 from the Ada County Sheriff's Office alerted on the vehicle and officers recovered a pipe used to smoke illegal substances. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Benjamen R. Garlock, 37, Transient

   Charges: 2 counts of Battery on an Officer (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

    Boise Police responded to a disturbance at a shelter on the 500 block of South 13th Sunday, March 11th, just after midnight. Employees tell police the suspect had been punching walls and causing problems. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, had to be physically removed from the building. As medical personnel attempted to assess the suspect's condition for his own safety he attempted to punch them. At one point the suspect grabbed an officer's weapons belt and a struggle took place. At a local hospital the suspect kicked an officer in the head and attempted to bite him. After being cleared by medical personnel, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: James T. Moore, 25, Nampa

    Charges:  Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane travelling on I-184 near Curtis early this morning, March 12th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .13/.13 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Siva Q. Sanchez, 41, Boise

  Warrant Charges:  Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft Sunday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a checkbook that was stolen in October of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect used the stolen checkbook to obtain more than $4,000.00 in cash. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Joshua J. Miller, 26, No Known Address

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Receiving Stolen Property Friday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into several items stolen from a residence on the 300 block of North Garden Street beginning in November of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect, who was staying at the home during the time, stole several items including bicycles and electronics. The suspect then sold them to obtain cash over a period of months. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

 Arrested: Marsha H. Knipple, 59, Boise

  Charges: Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 100 block of East Myrtle Street Sunday, March 11th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
