02-07-12 Third Suspect Arrested in Robbery; BPD Daily Incident

Feb 7, 2011 - Boise Police detectives
have stayed on the case of a violent armed robbery at a Boise home
early last year. Friday they arrested the third suspect at his home
in Nampa.
Arrested: Scott Webb, 27, Nampa
Charged: Robbery (F)
Background:Boise Police have been
actively investigating the robbery since it occurred Jan. 30th,
2011 (see previous news releases below). Detectives were able to
obtain an arrest warrant for Webb last Friday, Feb 3. Officers then
arrested him at his Nampa home and booked him into the Canyon
County Jail on the above charge. Webb has been transferred to Ada
County and will be arraigned on the charge in a Boise courtroom
this afternoon.

08-25-10 UPDATE: Robbery Suspects from Jan. 30, 2011, One
Arrested, One Deceased
Boise, Aug 25, 2011- Boise Police
recently identified the two suspects believed to be involved in a
home invasion robbery that occurred last January 30th. Arrest
warrants for both suspects were issued August 2nd. One suspect was
arrested in Canyon County earlier this week and was transferred to
the Ada County Jail on the Boise charges yesterday. The second
suspect has been identified as the man deceased after firing a
weapon at Nampa Police Officers early yesterday morning. Nampa
Police have reported the incident occurred as they were attempting
to serve the suspect with the Ada County warrant.
Suspect: William D. Collins, 36,
Nampa
Charged: Robbery (F)
Suspect Collins is now in the Ada County
Jail, as reported in this mornings Boise Police daily incident
report, after being transferred from Canyon County, where he was
already in custody, to face charges on the outstanding warrant for
robbery.
Suspect: Charles D. Mefford, 29,
Caldwell
Suspect Mefford was identified this
afternoon as the man involved in the Wednesday morning incident
with Nampa Police.
Background on the Jan. 30th
Robbery:Boise Police were called early the morning of January 30th
after the residents of the home reported they had been robbed. The
victims said two men entered the home, officers believe through an
unlocked door, and threatened the victims with a knife and a gun.
One victim reported one of the suspects hit him with the firearm
causing a head injury. The victims reported several items were
stolen from the home by the suspects during the robbery.
Detectives do not believe the victims
knew the suspects. Officers believe the suspects were indeed
targeting several other individuals and broke into and robbed the
wrong house.
Boise Police detectives were able to
develop leads by tracking down some of the property stolen during
the robbery. Leads were also developed from evidence found at the
scene and from citizens tips to Crime Stoppers. The investigation
was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and
resulted in the felony warrants for the two above suspects being
issued.
At this time, no other warrants exist in
connection with the Jan. 30th Robbery.

Boise, Jan. 30, 2011 - Boise Police are
investigating a robbery at a home in the area of N. 36th and Taft
Streets reported to have occurred at approx 5:15 this
morning.
Two male residents of the home tell officers
they were awakened by someone entering their house. The residents
say three men took several electronic items from the home.
Suspect descriptions are vague at this
time.
More information will be released when
available.
