   Arrested: Ryan J. Johnson, 21, Garden City

   Charges: Attempted Burglary (F)

   Arrested: Travis D. Kelly, 20, Garden City

   Charges: Attempted Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen report of two suspects on the top of a closed business on the 4700 block of West State early yesterday morning, February 15th, at approximately 2:30 a.m. The calling party, an employee of the business tells police he saw two men hiding behind a large sign. Officers who responded spotted the two men on the roof and ordered them to stay put until Boise Fire could respond with a ladder truck. The two suspects were taken into custody without incident. After a detailed investigation officers determined the two men had been attempting to gain entry into the business using tools they had with them. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)

   Boise Police on patrol near Canal and Shoshone Streets observed a vehicle with no rear bumper speeding yesterday afternoon, February 15th, at approximately 1:40 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. As officers contacted the driver, they repeatedly asked him to stop reaching under the seats. Officers recovered a baggie of marijuana weighing approximately 5 grams total package weight from the suspect's pocket. A Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs and officers recovered a baggie with meth residue. Officers later located another baggie of meth containing approximately 1 gram total package weight of the controlled substance. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
