   Arrested: Adam D. Bain, 18, Garden City

   Charges:Rape (F)

   Boise Police arrested the suspect yesterday January 19th, after a detailed investigation into allegations of a forcible rape that reportedly took place earlier that morning. The incident was reported to Boise Police yesterday at approximately 4:00 p.m. The victim, a juvenile female, tells detectives the rape took place at a West Boise home. The suspect is known to the victim and officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved in this incident. The investigation into this case continues. Further inquires should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

   Arrested: Michael B. Bracy, 21, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F), 

  Warrant Charges:Probation Violation (F), Failure to Appear (m)

    Boise Police arrested Michael Bracy yesterday, January 19th, after a detailed investigation into two incidents that took place this month at a convenience store on the 5700 block of West Overland. On January 10th at approximately 11:30 p.m. officers have evidence that the suspect had stolen the victims wallet after she left it on the counter at the store. On January 18th, employees tell officers the suspect selected four alcoholic beverages and exited the store without paying for them. The suspect was identified and officers determined he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest on probation violation and failure to appear charges. Yesterday, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Tracie J. Sutliff, 38, Michigan Center MI

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a Burglary on the 8300 block of West Overland Road yesterday afternoon, January 19th, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select electronic and cosmetic items, placing more than $600.00 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart and on her person. The suspect then attempted to leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
