  Warrant Arrested: Matthew L. Alexander, 18, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Rape (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for rape Sunday, January 29th 2012.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into illegal sexual conduct that took place in September of last year. The contact, involving a juvenile victim, took place in a Boise home. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. The incident was reported to Boise Police and a detailed investigation began in September of last year. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 61 RAPE 18-6101. Rape defined.Rape is defined as the penetration, however slight, of the oral, anal or vaginal opening with the perpetrator's penis accomplished with a female under any one (1) of the following circumstances:
(1)  Where the female is under the age of sixteen (16) years and the perpetrator is eighteen (18) years of age or older.

  Warrant Arrested: Pierre R. Rene Gambliel, 23, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance Sunday, January 29th 2012.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of approximately 15 grams of marijuana and other evidence on November 1st of last year. On that date, evidence indicates the suspect was in possession of the controlled substance after a Boise Police K-9 named "KC" initiated a search of his vehicle in a parking lot near Park Center and Mallad Streets. Officers have evidence that the suspect had been involved in the sale of the controlled substance. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Arrested: Christopher A. Thomas, 20, Nampa

   Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police Officers responded to a report of an out of control subject at a medical facility on the 300 block of North Allumbaugh Street Sunday morning, January 29th, at approximately 9:00 a.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect, who was a patient, punched a member of the staff and caused damage inside the hospital. The damage is expected to exceed $1,000.00. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Johanna R. Mccormick, 18, Meridian

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Ecstasy)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police on patrol Saturday evening, January 28th at approximately 11:50 p.m. observed a vehicle conduct an illegal stop, fail to signal a turn and fail to maintain its lane near the intersection of Cole and Spectrum. As officers contacted the driver they asked the suspect if there were any illegal substances in the vehicle. The suspect produced two ecstasy pills and a pipe used to smoke marijuana. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Cricket A. Thompson, 30, Boise

   Charges: Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident (F), Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance (m)

    Boise Police responded to a two vehicle collision at Five Mile and Edna Street Saturday afternoon, January 28th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect was driving a 4 door car when she struck another vehicle in the intersection. Witnesses say the suspect exited her vehicle briefly, then fled the scene without making any attempt to exchange information with the other involved parties. One passenger in the victims vehicle received what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures. After a detailed investigation officers located the suspect at a residence on the 4600 block of Jennifer Street and she was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Charged: Dustin L. Pattan, 23, Currently in custody at Idaho State Correctional Facility

  Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

    The suspect was transferred from the Idaho State Correctional Facility, were he is already in custody, to face an outstanding felony warrant for Receiving Stolen Property Friday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a burglary that took place in October of 2006. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the burglary of a residence on the 5200 block of Peachtree Street in Boise. Boise Police Detectives, using evidence from the original crime, determined the suspect had broken into the home and taken personal items valued at more than $1,000.00. After a detailed investigation that information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

 Arrested: Kayla R. Nichols, 23, Caldwell

  Charges:Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 600 block of East Boise Avenue Saturday, January 28th, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Store employees tell police the suspect took four game consoles from the store and exited without attempting to pay for the merchandise. Officers located the suspect in a nearby parking lot and recovered the items. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

 Arrested: Emily R. Baker, 24, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Saturday, January 28th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several items of merchandise and then attempt to leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
