  Warrant Arrested: Anthony C. Calvillo, 19, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault Sunday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on December 16th of last year at a Boise Bench home. On that date, witnesses tell police the suspect threatened a juvenile male with a large pipe wrench, causing him to fear for his safety. The incident was reported to police the same day and a detailed investigation into the incident began. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905. Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm

  Warrant Arrested: Gaius J. Butts, 38, Garden City

  Warrant Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault Friday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on November 17th of last year near Curtis and I-84.  On that date, the victim tells police the suspect grabbed the wheel of a moving vehicle and attempted to cause the vehicle to crash during an altercation, causing her to fear for her life. The incident was reported to police the same day and a detailed investigation into the incident began. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Arrested: Cord C. Palmer, 21, Meridian

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Psilocybin Mushrooms)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation Charges

   Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning, January 22nd, at approximately 4:30 a.m. observed a vehicle parked and running in a dirt lot in front of multiple closed businesses near 10th and Miller Streets. As officers contacted the suspect, they noted the distinct odor of burnt marijuana. An Ada County K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 16 plastic baggies containing approximately 132 grams total package weight of psilocybin mushrooms. Officers also recovered approximately 12 grams of marijuana and scales from the vehicle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Contessa M. Burnside, 36, Kuna 

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving without Privileges (m)

   Warrant Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle traveling Southbound on Curtis failing to maintain its lane Friday evening, January 20th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. Records also indicated the suspect had a current warrant for her arrest on DUI charges. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Aaron J. Burch, 29, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle speeding on Roosevelt near Greenbriar Street early Sunday morning, January 22nd, at approximately 1:00 a.m. and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .11/.11 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Fletcher D. Fountain, 44, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Probation Violation charges (F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to yield to a stop sign and fail to signal as it struggled to maintain its lane early Saturday morning, January 21st, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers stopped the vehicle near Overland and Latah Street. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Arlan P. Matchey, 27, Horseshoe Bend

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning, January 22nd, at approximately 2:00 a.m. observed a vehicle driven by the suspect near Phillip and Grover Street. Officers determined the suspect was currently suspended from driving and conducted a traffic stop. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Turk" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing a small amount of cocaine. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Austin C. Linson, 22, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a vandalism Sunday at a retail store on the 2200 block of South Broadway at approximately 6:00 p.m. As officers investigated that incident, they determined the suspect had concealed a tool and then left the store without paying for it.  Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. As that investigation took place, officers also determined the suspect had been in possession of three prescription medications that did not belong to him on the previous day. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Zachary D. Tullis, 23, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Stolen Financial Transaction Card (F), Violation of a No Contact Order (m)

    Boise Police responded to a citizens report of possible illegal activity in a parking lot on the 2300 block of West Airport Way early Saturday morning, January 21st, just after midnight. As officers approached the suspect, he attempted to hide behind a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers determined the suspect was in violation of a court issued no contact order. A search of the suspect's person revealed a credit card that officers determined had been stolen earlier that month from a victim in Boise. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Yoshiko Ingham, 41, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Sunday, January 22nd, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Saturday, January 21st, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
