Warrant Arrested: Joshua A. Miller, 19, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Injury to a Child (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.

Boise Police were notified on December 26th, 2011 by witnesses of suspicious injuries, including cuts and bruises on a one-year-old child. Detectives with the BPD Special Victims Unit began investigating. The child was placed in the protective custody of Idaho Health & Welfare and officers were able to obtain evidence for an arrest warrant with a $100,000 bond for the suspect, Miller. Miller and the child are well known to each other. Miller was arrested by Boise Police Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Ada County jail on the above listed charge.

Warrant Arrested: Charles R. Jorgensen, 33, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a motorcycle that was stolen from a residence in Boise on October of this year.  Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of the motorcycle and officers recovered the bike later that month. Officers conducted a detailed investigation into the theft and determined the suspect was involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
