    Boise, Dec. 13, 2011 - Boise Police officers have identified the suspect in not one, but two recent burglaries at local churches; the most recent being the theft of a donation box taken from off the wall at a church on Northview Street.

    After investigating, Boise Police property crimes detectives say the same suspect is also believed responsible for a theft a few days earlier at a church near McMillan and CLoverdale Roads.

    The suspect is Timothy Michael Brown, 18 of Boise. 

    Boise Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Brown, charing him with burglary and petit theft. The warrant caries a $50,000 bond. 

    Detectives say Brown is a suspect in the November 20th theft of the donation box taken from the Northview Street church, and also the theft of an iPod taken from the church near Cloverdale & McMillan November 17th. Witnesses to the November 17th case say the suspect appeared to be poised to take several items, but was spotted and confronted by a church member and quickly left.

    Suspect description:In addition to the attached photo, the suspect, Brown, 18, is described as a light-skinned male, 5'7", 125 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. 

    Crime Stoppers:Officers have been searching for Brown but have not yet located him. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects..

    Boise, Dec. 5, 2011 - Boise Police are searching for the young man who walked into a Northview Street Church and walked out with the church's donation box.

    What Happened: Boise Police were called early Sunday evening, November 20th. Church officials told officers the theft occurred about 1:00 p.m. that day. Investigating officers say it appears the donation box was ripped off the wall from inside the church, money taken from envelopes, and the box left in the trash can of the church's men's restroom. Witnesses say at least $100 was inside the donation box at the time of the theft. The theft was discovered by two parishioners who found the donation box in the trash can and reported it to church officials.

    Since the report, officers have been searching for leads, and now are asking citizens if they may recognize the suspect from security footage.

    Suspect description:According to the security footage, the theft suspect appears to be a young white male with red hair, a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and red shoes.
