12-01-11 One day crime spree lands suspect in jail on six felony charges; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Michael L. Aleo, 37, Riverside CA.

   Charges: Burglary (F), 2 counts of Grand Theft (F), 2 Counts of Concealment of Evidence (F), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m), 2 Counts of Driving without Privileges (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a residential burglary on the 3700 block of South Norfolk Way last night, November 30th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the suspect, Michael Aleo, had broken into the residence on Norfolk and stolen more than $2000.00 worth of items including televisions and computer equipment. The suspect was seen driving away from the residence in a red car. Officers later determined that car had been stolen from a relative earlier that afternoon from a home on the 1600 block of Pineridge Drive.

   A short time later, suspect then struck a median and blew out the tires on the car on Federal Way. Witnesses tell police the suspect then stole a rental truck from a dealer on the 4500 block of South Federal Way. The suspect transferred the stolen items into the rental truck before leaving. The vehicle is valued at approximately $20,000.00 The suspect then drove the rental truck to a residence on the 4400 block of Rimview Way and hid the items. Officers located the suspect a short time later as he approached the residence of the relatives that he had originally stolen the car from on Pineridge. Aleo refused to obey numerous commands to get on the ground. Officers had to physically restrain the suspect. A search of the suspects person revealed a large folding knife in his back pocket. The suspect is not a concealed weapons permit holder. A check through Ada County Dispatch indicated the suspect was currently suspended from driving. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Judith M. Lower-Flading, 54, Boise

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Manufacture of Drug Paraphernalia (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m), Prescription Not in Original Container (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 7100 block of West Ustick Road last night, November 30th, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Officers recovered approximately 18 grams of marijuana, seven glass pipes with meth residue on them, 9 glass tubes used to manufacture pipes and a prescription bottle with no label containing six different controlled medications. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Daniel R. Fullington, 23, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of funds from a local company. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of more than $25,000.00 beginning in as April of last year. The suspect was an employee of the local business at the time. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Spice)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation Charges

   Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 2100 block of South Arcadia Street last night, November 30th, at approximately 8:30 p.m. With the assistance of Boise Police K-9 "Ruwa" Officers recovered a small amount of meth, a small amount of spice and other drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation Charges

   Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 7100 block of West Ustick Road last night, November 30th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Officers recovered a straw containing meth residue from the home. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
