Felony DUI and two unrelated drug warrant arrests; Daily incident report

12-15-11 Felony DUI and two unrelated drug warrant arrests; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Gregory A. Morin, 54, Nampa

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle repeatedly cross the fog line as it travelled Westbound on I-184 near Orchard early this morning, December 15th, at approximately 2:30 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .14/.13 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Heidi E. Nash, 36, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the sale of marijuana located during a probation and parole search in September of this year. Officers recovered approximately 91.5 grams of marijuana from the home and through the course of the investigation, determined the substance had been offered for sale. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Lauren D. Whitman, 28, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of meth located during a search by Boise Police neighborhood contact officers in September of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was in possession of glass meth pipes containing meth. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
