Sexual Abuse Suspect Wanted

11-22-11 Sexual Abuse Suspect Wanted

    Boise, Nov. 22, 2011 - Police in both Boise and Meridian are asking the public's help in locating a man wanted in two cases involving the sexual abuse of a child under 16.

    Arrest Warrant: Anthony J. Dalgarn, 24, of Boise but no known address

    Charged: Sexual Abuse of a Minor Under 16 (F)

    A $250,000 dollar warrantwas issued after an investigation by Meridian Police that began in mid-November. Boise Police have a detention warrant (allows officers to hold the suspect for evidence collection) in a similar case reported in early October. Both cases involve allegations of inappropriate sexual contact between Dalgarn and young teenage females.

    Additional Victims:Investigators are concerned there may be other young females under age 16 who have had sexual contact with Dalgarn and have not yet told a trusted adult and/or reported it to police. Anyone with any information on possible victims involving Dalgarn are urged to contact non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.

A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
