  Warrant Arrested: Ronald B. Hill, 64, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

  Additional Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) 

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday at a home on the 4100 block of West Kootenai Street at approximately 3:30 p.m.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of Meth during a Probation and Parole search on July 11th of this year. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

    As officers took the suspect into custody yesterday they recovered a small amount of Meth, marijuana and other items of drug paraphernalia. Officers also located a loaded weapon resulting in the Unlawful possession charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Kevin M. Welch, 26, Boise

  Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(F)

    Boise Police arrested Kevin Welch at a residence on the bench yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale of marijuana. Detectives have evidence that indicates the suspect was involved in the selling the substance. Officers recovered approximately 183 grams total package weight of marijuana, scales and other packaging materials from the home. No further information is available at this time.
