BPD Officers and Probation and Parole agents work together to make multiple Felony arrests; Daily incident report

  Arrested: Bobby S. Lewis, 33, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a suspect at a residence on the 8800 block of West Lancelot Street early this morning, August 4th, just after midnight at approximately 12:30 a.m. Officers located approximately 1 gram total package weight of meth, syringes and other items of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Dana E. Dewey, 45, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a suspect at a residence on the 3100 block of West Overland Street early this morning, August 4th, at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers located a small amount of meth and a needle on the suspects person. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Lindsay M. Pierce, 28, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 5400 block of West Grover Street yesterday afternoon, August 3rd, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Officers recovered multiple prescription narcotics, a small amount of marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia including syringes from the home. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Cory M. Lockwood, 20, Nampa

  Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd Conduct with a Minor yesterday.

   The warrant comes as a result of a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct that reportedly took place on January 23rd of this year at a Boise home. The conduct was reported to police in February of this year. The suspect is known to the victim. Detectives have no evidence that indicates other victims are involved in this incident. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

  Arrested: James W. Yanskey, 25, Boise

   Charges: Obtaining Prescriptions by Fraud (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fraud in progress at a Pharmacy on West Overland yesterday, August 3rd, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Employees tell police the suspect had called in a fraudulent prescription for a controlled substance and the suspect was at the store attempting to obtain the medications. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: David Metcalf, 42, Boise

   Charges: Obtaining Prescriptions by Fraud (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fraud in progress at a Pharmacy on South Broadway yesterday, August 3rd, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Employees tell police the suspect claimed to be filling a prescription for another individual and the suspect was at the store attempting to obtain the medications. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the suspect had removed several of the pills from the prescription container after obtaining it from the pharmacist. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Debra A. Phinney, 49, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F), Providing False Information (m), Parole Violation charges (F)

 Arrested: Jene L. Tschannen, 43, Twin Falls

  Charges:Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland yesterday, August 3rd, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects conceal several items in a container and then leave the store without paying for them. Employees detained the suspects and recovered the items. Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charges. Debra Phinney provided false identifying information to officers during the investigation. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: April D. Millward, 28, Middleton

  Charges:Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee yesterday, August 3rd, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several clothing items, then leave the store without paying for them. Employees detained the suspect and recovered the items. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
