Officers recover stolen truck resulting in Felony charges; Daily incident report

07-06-11 Officers recover stolen truck resulting in Felony charges; Daily incident report

  Arrested: James L. Royall, 40, Mesa WA.

   Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

    Boise Police, investigating a stolen vehicle report, responded to a residence on the 1200 block of East Oakridge Drive early this morning, July 6th, just after midnight. Officers had received information that the stolen vehicle could be located at the residence. Officers located the vehicle. After a detailed investigation the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Arnulfo F. Villagomez, 37, Boise

  Charges:Felon in Possession of a Weapon (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

 Arrested: Alejandro Cortez, 31, Boise

  Charges:Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers served a search warrant at a residence on the 4000 block of West Neel yesterday, July 5th,  at approximately 3:00 p.m. Officers recovered several items of drug paraphernalia from the home including pipes and marijuana residue. A detailed investigation indicated the items belonged to the suspects. Officers also recovered a sawed off shotgun that evidence indicates belongs to Arnulfo Villagomez, a convicted felon, resulting in the Weapons Possession charge. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Timothy J. Kelly, 24, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Burglary (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into items stolen from a residence in downtown Boise in January of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of jewelry, electronics and other items. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Shasta D. Nielsen, 38, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the use of meth in March of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the use of the controlled substance and tested positive during a blood test for the illegal drug. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
