  Arrested: Spencer E. Cox, 19, Boise

   Charges: 2 counts of Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in a parking lot near State and Veterans last night, June 13th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police that the suspect, later identified as Spencer Cox, had been involved in an ongoing dispute with two adult males. In the parking lot the suspect was seen swinging an axe handle at the two victims resulting in the two counts of aggravated assault. No one was seriously injured in the incident. The suspect was located a short time later and after a detailed investigation, he was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

  Arrested: Charles T. Porter, 21, Kuna

   Charges: 2 counts of Forgery (F), 2 counts of Grand Theft (F)

    Boise Police received a report of a fraudulent check the suspect attempted to cash at a local merchant on May 27th of this year. Detectives determined the suspect had altered the check in an attempt to obtain cash. As detectives investigated this incident they determined the suspect had been involved in another similar case and may have obtained materials from the victims mailbox. After a detailed investigation the suspect was taken into custody this morning, June 4th, on the above listed charges.
