Multiple unrelated warrant arrests including Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Grand Theft; Daily incident report

   Warrant Arrested: Michael A. Deering, 50, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a traffic stop that took place on April 26th of this year. On that date a police K-9 indicated the likely presence of drugs in the suspects vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 26 grams total package weight of marijuana. A detailed investigation revealed evidence that the suspect intended to offer the substance for sale. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Travis L. Martin, 28, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a stolen handgun taken from a residence in North Boise on May 18th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect then sold the handgun for cash. The victim was known to the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Steven S. Farrant, 33, Caldwell

  Warrant Charges: Harboring a Fugitive (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Harboring a Fugitive yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the suspect's actions while officers searched for a wanted subject in a business on the 200 block of East 37th street on January 29th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect lied to officers, telling them the wanted suspect was not in the building at the time of the search. Officers located the wanted suspect inside the building minutes later. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Milisha J. Terry, 19, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on May 20th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect entered a retail store on the 300 block of Nth Milwaukee and concealed items before leaving the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the Burglary charge. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
