  Arrested: Jordan J. Laney, 29, Nampa

   Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(F), Parole Violation charges

    Boise Police responded to a vehicle collision near Irene and Harrison Blvd. Sunday morning, June 26th, at approximately 7:00 a..m. When officers arrived the suspect was still in his vehicle that had struck two parked cars on the street. Officers noted that the suspect appeared to be incoherent and lethargic. As officers contacted the driver, a K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 8 large and small bags of marijuana with a combined total package weight of approximately 455.5 grams and other items of paraphernalia in the vehicle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: James D. Foster, 62, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of an armed subject at a residence near Main and 16th Sunday evening, June 26th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect was involved in an argument with a neighbor over a noise issue. Witnesses say the victim was mowing his lawn when the suspect threatened him with what appeared to be a handgun at the time. The victim tells officers the suspect jabbed him in the chest with the weapon and threatened his life. After a detailed investigation the suspect was taken into custody on the above listed charges. The handgun, that turned out to be an air soft pistol, was located. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.[; or] (c)  With any vitriol, corrosive acid, or a caustic chemical of any kind. (d)  "Deadly weapon or instrument" as used in this chapter is defined to include any firearm, though unloaded or so defective that it can not be fired.

    Arrested: Miguel A. Hernandez, 20, Boise

    Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a subject passed out in the drive through at a fast food restaurant near Kootenai and Vista early Sunday morning, June 26th, at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers located the suspect still in the vehicle drivers seat and had a difficult time waking him. At one point, the suspect began struggling with officers and refused to comply with officers commands. The suspect was taken into custody on the resisting and obstructing charge. A search of the suspects vehicle revealed approximately 1 gram total package weight of cocaine and approximately 13 grams total package weight of marijuana. The suspect, who had slurred speach, failed field sobriety tests and blew a .17/.16 at the Ada County Jail. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
