The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into conditions in a West Boise home on April 14th of this year. On that date officers assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of the residence with two small children living in the home. Officers found the living environment hazardous including rotting food, floors covered in dried liquids with a strong odor of feces and urine. In addition officers recovered methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia including used and unused hypodermic needles within reach of the children. The children were turned over to the custody of the State Department of Health and Welfare.
