Repeat shoplifting suspect fights with employees resulting in Battery charge; Daily incident report

 Arrested: Marilynne J. Delrio, 52, Boise

  Charges:2 counts of Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F), Battery (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee yesterday, May 26th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect enter the store twice in a matter of minutes, on both occasions the suspect concealed high value handbags and then left the store without paying for them. The second time the suspect  exited the store loss prevention employees detained her, during which the suspect fought and scratched one of the employees. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the thefts resulting in the burglary charges. The value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $1,000.00 resulting in the grand theft charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Leasley L. Alvarado, 18, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft(F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into checks written on an account with insufficient funds. Evidence indicates the suspect issued the checks in September of last year totalling more than $1,000.00 when the account did not contain the funds. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

 Arrested: Jerrett T. Furey, 33, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of an ongoing theft at a business on the 7000 block of West Overland early this morning, May 27th , at approximately 2:00 a.m. Managers tell police they had been missing money from the till on more than one occasion over the last month and early this morning they witnessed the suspect, an employee, enter the store after hours. After a detailed investigation officers determined the suspect had taken money from the business. Officers believe the suspect entered the business with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
